I am recruiting for Director of Flight Operations for a small regional Airline based in Southern Europe.This is a great  opportunity to join a successful airline.

Key Responsibilities:
The principal responsibility of the DFO is to take all possible and practicable steps to ensure the safety, security and efficient overall operation of all company aircraft. Providing strong leadership that conveys the company’s commitment to the highest possible safety standards. Ensuring the management of flight safety and technical requirements. The development, maintenance and documentation of procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of all company aircraft.
Liaison with the Civil Aviation Authority on all matters covering Company operations.  Work alongside the other nominated persons to drive continuous improvement, collaboration and cooperation between departments and the implementation of new technologies.

Qualification & Experience:  
Hold an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), and previous employment in an EASA regulatory environment.
Able to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic vision and managerial competency. Comprehensive knowledge of civil aviation regulations, standards and recommended practices (EASA, ICAO, IATA).  • Permanent relocation is required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 2,000 + Total Flight Hours
  • Minimum 500+ hours on the B787

SALARY 

  • Line Training: USD 6,580 pro rata.
  • Completed Line Training (move to 100% pay): USD 9,750 per month.

Salary increment: 2% increment on the monthly payment from the 3rd year of service until 10th year of service.

Over time: 90 USD/ hour when over 170 hours during any 2-month consecutive period.

Educational Allowance: USD 1000 per month.

International Health Insurance is now provided as part of the package.

Contract is due to start ASAP following screenings with the airline. Screenings are taking place each month in China.
